How do I connect to America Online with Halifax.Com?

To connect to America Online via TCP/IP ( Windows 2.5 or greater):

  1. Connect the Internet as normal using Trumpet, Dial-up Networking or whatever method that you usually use.
  2. Start your AOL software.
  3. Click on Setup on the Sign On screen.
  4. Click on Edit Location.
  5. Select TCP/IP from the Network drop-down box.
  6. Click on Save.
  7. Click on OK to return to the Sign On screen.
  8. Sign on to America Online using TCP/IP.

To connect to America Online via TCP/IP (Macintosh):

  1. Connect the Internet as normal using Trumpet, Dial-up Networking or whatever method that you usually use.
  2. Start your AOL software.
  3. Select TCP Connection from the Locality pop-up menu on the Sign On screen.
  4. Sign on to America Online using TCP/IP.
