How do I get to the chat groups?

There are many Chat sites on the Internet today. This article describes how to access one of them. This chat site is called the IRC, which stands for the Internet Relay Chat. It consists of many thousands of chat groups. IRC is free service on the Internet and as such, anyone can visit this site. Parents are encouraged to watch their children very closely should they decide to visit any chat group.

You can download an IRC client called mIRC from here. If you need help downloading and installing the file, please read this.

There are several other chat clients for IRC that you can download from Stroud's site. Make sure that you download the 16 bit version if you are running Windows 3.1, and that you download the 32 bit version if you are running Windows 95 or Windows NT.
